Our system

Most programs offer reps. TPS offers a process. Every athlete inside The Player System is assessed, tested, tracked, and developed through an individualized system that connects performance training to skill development. Nothing is random. Everything has a purpose. The result is not just a better hitter or harder thrower — it is a more complete, durable, and coachable athlete. When you join TPS, you are partnering with an experienced team committed to helping you navigate and succeed throughout your baseball journey.

What our Athletes say

What our

Athletes say

  • Connor Cox – University of Portland

TPS has completely changed the game for me. The environment that surrounds me is competitive and keeps me striving to be a better athlete everyday. My physical mechanics have completely changed over the time that I have been working with TPS, helping me gain 20 miles per hour velocity in two and a half years. The TPS trainers care about each individual and always prioritize every athletes health.

  • Zach Blair – Mt. Hood Community College

TPS has been an impactful part of my development for the short time I’ve been there. All of the coaches are great to work with. Not only are they helping me to become a better baseball player, but also a better athlete overall.

  • Jonas Salk – University of Portland

The trainers at TPS prioritize each athletes unique and personal development process. Through their specific workouts I have tapped in to increased strength, speed, and my movements have become more efficient. Not only have I performed better in sport with New Athlete, I also feel better. The environment in the facility is competitive, and motivating. New Athlete is a place that can help you become the best version of yourself as a baseball player, and as an athlete in general.

  • Max Fraser – Oregon State University

Once I started going to TPS, my game completely changed. I have been able to unlock strength and athleticism I didn’t know I had. The training along with the mechanical adjustments made there on both hitting and pitching have helped me improve my game drastically. I have also gained over 10 mph in the last 2 years here. Along with all of that, the trainers have your best interest at mind, which makes TPS a great place to train.

  • Tristan Garnett – Philadelphia Phillies Prospect

Training at TPS has held a key role in helping me get the most out of my 2025-26 off-season. Instead of merely telling me what to do, Tyler and the rest of the staff steered me in the right direction and allowed me to become my own best coach through the whole process.

  • Andrew Walling – Philadelphia Phillies Prospect

TPS has helped me immensely with body awareness. Through individualized training and ever-evolving approach to different concepts, I continue to improve each and every time I step into the lab.

  • Tyler Howard – Cleveland Guardians Prospect

I think TPS is a premier training facility in the northwest. Coming into high school I had little instruction in the weight room. By coming to New TPS it prepared me for the next level by getting me bigger, stronger, faster, all things that separate players at the next level. Not only do Tyler and Logan understand what it takes to get to the next level but they understand what each player needs to not only get to the next level but how to separate themselves at the next level. In regards to instruction new athlete is leading not only the Portland metro area but but arguably the west coast. I would strongly suggest TPS to any player.

  • Wade Meckler – Los Angeles Angels

The Player System has completely changed the trajectory of my career. I first entered the building starting to work with them on a major hamstring injury along with the fact I was recently cut from my college team at Oregon State. Their curiosity, drive to identify and correct physical deficiencies, and obsessive nature over finding any possible edge to make their players better makes them, in my opinion, one of the best baseball trainers in the world, and it helped turn me from a cut walk-on to a top 10 round pick. Then progressed further to a Major League Baseball player. I can honestly say my career would not be where it is today without their expertise.
